NEED A SCORECARD

Mississippi shook up the line up in search of better combinations recently, which appeared to start working Sunday in the victory over Wichita. Ken Davis earned his first point in an assist of Glenn Detulleo's game-winning goal, while Tyler Doherty scored his first professional goal.

Davis last played for McGill University (Montreal, QC) in 2006, while Doherty played for Concordia University (Montreal, QC) in 2007. Davis was a draft choice of the Detroit Red Wings in 1999 and helped the Portland Winterhawks (WHL) win the Memorial Cup, emblematic of Canadian major junior hockey supremacy, in 1998. Doherty has played some semi-pro hockey in Quebec since his college days at Concordia.

In addition, Elias Godoy has added some punch to the offense, since coming to the RiverKings in a trade with Texas. Godoy has scored a goal and has added a pair of assists in his three appearances with the team.

HELD PACES THE OFFENSE

Ryan Held's 21 goals puts him in the top twenty for goal scoring in the CHL standings at No. 16. He's also in the Top 20 (tied at No. 18) for points with 50 for the season. Held needs nine goals to match his career single-season high of 30 goals, set in the 2007-08 season in Mississippi.

LANDMESSER'S OFFENSIVE AT THE BLUE LINE

Veteran defenseman Derek Landmesser continues to be productive on offense from the blue line, as he's in a tie for seventh in the CHL for points by a defenseman with 34. Landmesser is in a tie for 10th in goals scored with eight and tied for sixth in assists by a defenseman with 26. Three of Landmesser's goal have come on the power play and he ranks in a tie for first in the CHL for power play assists with 19.
