Mullen to Visit ESPN Headquarters on Wednesday?>
August 14, 2010
STARKVILLE - With classes beginning across campus and players getting acclimated to their school routine, head coach Dan Mullen will give his Bulldogs a day away from the practice fields on Wednesday. But it won't be a day of vacation for the head coach, as he visits the headquarters of ESPN in Bristol, Conn., for the day. Mullen will have a full day of interviews and meetings at the network campus, including live appearances on ESPNews and College Football Live. "It's a great chance to spend a day meeting with and getting to know people that have a great impact on college football across the nation," Mullen said. "The schedule just happened to work out, and it will be a day well spent." Mullen will appear live on ESPN First Take and ESPNews in the morning, on College Football Live at 1:30 p.m. (CT) and record several other interviews and participate in an on-line chat during the day. The Bulldog head coach will return to the Mississippi State campus for The Drill, where he is scheduled to speak around 6 p.m. The Drill is an annual welcome-back gathering on campus featuring university president Dr. Keenum and a host of others. Following the off day Wednesday, Mississippi State will return to practice on Thursday as it continues preparations for the kickoff of the 2010 football campaign on Sept. 4 against Memphis. The contest is set for 6 p.m. and will be televised nationally on ESPNU. |
