Northwest Mississippi Community College is offering an ACT Preparation Workshop on Monday, March 29, and Tuesday, March 30, from 6-9 p.m. The deadline to register for the class is Friday, March 26, at noon.

This course provides an overview of the ACT format, followed by a review of verbal and mathematics fundamentals for solving typical test questions. Also to be discussed are management and test-taking strategies. Previous students of this course have raised their scores significantly.

The course will be taught by Northwest faculty members Marcus Perkins and Beth Bunce. It will be held in the New Physical Science addition, Room 106, on the Senatobia campus.

The cost of the course is $105, with the book included. The class will also be offered on May 24-25.
