A fresh new voice!

Hernando High School graduate Ricky Robertson (left) accepts congratulations from DeSoto County superintendent of education Milton Kuykendall as the DeSoto County Board of Education saluted Robertson at its July 22 meeting in Hernando. Robertson, who will be entering his sophomore year at The University of Mississippi this fall, earned school, state, conference and national honors in 2009-10 as a freshman high jumper on the Ole Miss track team.
