OBPD Arrests Four in Target Employee Theft Case

The Olive Branch Police Department arrested four employees at the Target Store at 5150 Goodman Road who were involved in the theft of electronic merchandise.

Sherrod J. Edwards, 21, of Memphis, was charged with conspiracy to a felony crime. Eddie T. Sevier, 19, of Horn Lake, was charged with embezzlement $500 or more. Dedrick V. Johnson, 25, of Olive Branch, was charged with embezzlement less than $500. Brandon Moffitt, 23, of Byhalia, was charged with embezzlement less than $500.

The suspects were arrested after OBPD officers worked along with Target asset protection agents. The arrests were made on Wednesday, July 28.

Items taken included Garmin GPS units and IPODs. A court date has been set for Aug. 10 on all four subjects.
