OBPD Crime Watch Notes - Incidents Reported Thursday, Aug. 5

 

 

11853 - Burglary/Malicious Mischief - 5700 Block of Lee’s Crossing - 9:07 a.m.
A 33-year-old victim stated that her ex-boyfriend came to her residence but she would not open the door. He became angry and kicked in the door to the residence. The victim ran to her bedroom and locked herself in. The suspect left the residence when she called the police. The 32-year-old suspect was later located and arrested.

11890 - Burglary of an Auto - Faith Pre-School Academy @ 7091 Davidson Rd. - 6:01 p.m.
A 42-year-old victim reported that she discovered her purse was missing at around 4 p.m. and believed it was taken from her unlocked vehicle while she picked up her child from Faith Pre-School Academy. She described her purse as a small, light brown purse valued at $15. In her purse she had her driver’s license, SunTrust bank card, Wells Fargo Visa, Capital One Visa, JC Penny credit card, Social Security card, medical insurance card and possibly her physical therapy card. The victim said that her Well Fargo Card, Capital One Card and SunTrust bank card had already been used at Game Stop, Genesco Inc., Office Depot and a men’s clothing store.

OBPD officers also made arrests for Violation of Probation (two), Possession of Paraphernalia (one) and Sale of a Controlled Substance (one).
