Olive Branch Crime Watch Notes Reported Tuesday, Aug. 31?>
13371 - Auto Burglary - 9100 Block of Krista Cove - 6:40 a.m. A 58-year-old victim filed a report due to his work van being burglarized. Oxygen tanks and freon gauges were stolen. Entry was made by breaking the rear window.
13386 - Credit Card Use to Defraud - 7600 Block of Shahkoka Dr. W. - 10:23 a.m. A 46-year-old female reported that her First Tennessee debit card had received some unauthorized charges. She received a call from her bank stating that three payments had been made on her card from stores in Spain totaling $267.46.
13390 - Grand Larceny - 5200 Block of Mary Lane North - 11:31 a.m. A homeowner reported that a 2009 Suzuki 750 four-wheeler, black in color, had been stolen from her garage. It had been seen the night before at about 10:15 p.m., but was noticed missing when she returned from running errands on Tuesday about 10:15 a.m. She couldn't be certain if the garage door was closed when she left her residence earlier that morning.
13396 - Identity Theft - 6200 Block of Davidson Rd. - 2:30 p.m. A 70-year-old victim noticed a $16 charge on his Century Link phone bill which began when someone used his wife's name and an incorrect date of birth to create an e-mail account.
13400 - Credit Card Use to Defraud - Target Store @ 5150 Goodman Rd. - 3 p.m. A 53-year-old male reported that he had lost his debit card inside Horseshoe Casino in Tunica on Sunday, Aug. 29, and he later called the bank to cancel the card. Meanwhile, the First Tennessee debit card had been used at Target in Olive Branch at 10:30 that morning in the amount of $238.77 in addition to other transactions made in various cities.
13412 - Credit Card Use to Defraud – WalMart @ 7950 Craft Goodman Frontage Rd. - 4:45 p.m. A 52-year-old victim reported that three unauthorized transactions were made at WalMart on his debit card totaling $1326.
Olive Branch police officers also made arrests for Speeding (one), No Proof of Insurance (one), Suspended Driver’s License (two), No Driver’s License (two), License Tag Switched (one), Contempt of Court (one), Forged Prescription (one), Conspiracy to Commit a Crime (one) and Violation of Probation (one).
