OBPD Crime Watch Notes Reported Thursday, Aug. 19

 

 

12638 - Petit Larceny - Goodwill Drop-Off Center @ 6431 Goodman Rd. - 5:44 a.m.

Employees watching surveillance videos noticed a female taking bags of donations outside the donation center for several days and carrying them away in a green Ford Explorer.  Employees confronted the 51-year-old suspect when she came back to take more, called the police and an arrest was made.  Value of the bags of clothing on this particular day was $150.

 

 

12655 - Disorderly Conduct - 10700 Block of Chateau Dr. - 1:42 p.m.

A 56-year-old female reported that while driving on Hwy 78 near the rest area her windshield was broken by what appeared to be concrete wrapped in a cloth that came from within a van.  She followed the van to a residence and called for police.  The 36-year-old male suspect was disorderly with officers and an arrest was made.

 

 

12659 - Identity Theft - 6000 Block of Clay Lane - 3:04 p.m.

An 18-year-old female victim reported she used a recruiting agency to help her secure a job and learned that her Social Security number is now being used by an individual in Florida.  

 

 

12681 - Credit Card Fraud - 7400 Block of Ashlyn Dr. - 7:17 p.m.

A 38-year-old female reported that her debit card number had been used for fraudulent purchases at a Target and a BP in California for a total of $264.25.   

 

 

OBPD officers also made arrests for Suspended Driver’s License (four), No Proof of Insurance (four), No Driver’s License (one) and Public Drunk (one).
