OBPD Crime Watch Notes Reported Monday, Aug. 16

12473 - Auto Burglary - 8000 block of Horn Cove South - 8:56 a.m.

A 42-year-old victim stated that sometime between 2-5 a.m. someone burglarized his unlocked 2010 Ford pickup. He stated that the subject took a small air conditioner valued at $99.

12478 - Malicious Mischief - 9400 block of Village Point - 10:02 a.m.

A 31-year-old female reported someone damaged her privacy fence.  Two fence boards were found in the grass. No other property was damaged.

12491 - Burglary of a Dwelling - 9100 Block of Tahoe Dr. - 12:48 p.m.

A victim returned home to discover that the front door of the residence had been kicked in. A flat screen TV was stolen from the living room area of the house, as well as numerous amounts of jewelry and two jewelry boxes from the homeowner's bedroom. There was also a flat screen TV from upstairs that was stolen as well. 

12492 - Identity Theft - 8000 Block of Montrose - 1:21 p.m.

A 65-year-old victim reported that her identity was used to open a Dish Network account in Memphis, which now has an outstanding balance. 

OBPD officers also made arrests for Suspended Driver’s License (one) and No Driver’s License (one).
