OBPD Crime Watch Notes - Incidents Reported Friday, Aug. 13

 

 

12206 - Leaving the Scene of an Accident - Blocker St. @ E Sandidge Rd.  -  2:12 a.m. 

A witness reported that a subject had been speeding up and down Blocker Street in a large SUV, possibly an older Tahoe or Ford Bronco (dark blue in color). The witness stated that the SUV was headed south on Blocker Street when it swerved off the roadway, hitting a mailbox in the 6000 block of Blocker St.

 

 

12302 - Malicious Mischief - Olive Branch City Park @ 8267 Goodman Rd. - 8:07 a.m.

 A complainant reported that flags had been stolen and damage was done to two lights and a playground sign.  The two flags were taken from the tennis court area.

 

 

12342 - Petit Larceny - YMCA @ 8555 Goodman Rd. - 6 p.m.

 A 34-year-old victim reported that he arrived at the YMCA at approximately 4 p.m. and that the combination Master lock was missing from his locker. His wallet was open and his Discover card had been removed from the wallet. That was around 5 p.m. The offender had already used the card at three department stores in Southaven and charged over $200 at each store.

 

 

OBPD officers also made arrests for Violation of Probation (one), Suspended Driver’s License (one), No Driver’s License (one), Public Drunk (one) and Driving Under the Influence (one).
