OBPD Crime Watch Notes - Incidents Reported Wednesday, Aug.11

 

 

12193 - Burglary of an Auto - City Park @ 8267 Goodman Rd. - 9:19 a.m. 

A 20-year-old victim arrived at the playground area around 8:20 a.m.  Thirty-to-45 minutes later she returned to her '97 Honda Accord, which she was unable to lock due to a mechanical malfunction and noticed that her white Dooney and Bourke purse, valued at $500, was missing.  Contents were two paychecks, a $99 money order, a debit card and approximately $47 in cash. 

 

 

12210 - Shoplifting - Dollar General Store @ 10956 Nichols Blvd. - 2:28 p.m.

Store management reported that a heavy-set black female was observed concealing hair care products in her purse, paying for two other items and leaving the scene in a green Plymouth Villager displaying a MS tag.

 

 

12217 - Malicious Mischief - 10100 Block of Curtis Dr. - 3:48 p.m.

A 26-year-old female reported that she left her residence at approximately 1 a.m.  She returned and noticed at approximately 3:30 p.m. a large hole in the passenger side front window of her vehicle, a white 2002 Kia Sportage. Nothing appeared to be missing at the time of the report. 

 

 

 OBPD officers also made arrest for No Driver’s License (one) and Suspended Driver’s License (two).
