OBPD Crime Watch Notes - Incidents Reported Sunday, Aug. 1?>
11582 - D.U.I 2nd / Leaving the Scene of an Accident – Hwy. 302 & Germantown - 3 a.m. OBPD responded to Highway 302 bypass east bound on ramp at Highway 305 for report of a Motor Vehicle Accident. The vehicle involved was a 2000 green Toyota 4-runner. The vehicle rolled over and stopped on the roof. Witnesses said the driver left in another vehicle. The officers found that vehicle arriving at a residence and approached the driver. The driver tried fleeing over a fence but was apprehended by officers.
11591 - Grand Larceny - 8200 Block of Club View Dr. - 10:53 a.m. A 51-year-old victim reported that several items from his residence were missing. He discovered his I-Phone worth $200, his wallet, a CD case and a Sony radio valued about $125, a Sony digital camera valued $250 and an I-Phone case valued at $50 were missing. A relative is suspected.
11608 - Burglary of an Auto/Credit Card fraud - Lowe's @ 8370 Camp Creek Blvd. - 6:09 p.m. A 54-year-old victim reported that around 5:20 p.m. she entered Lowe's and was in the store about 25 minutes before returning to her green Chevy Tahoe to see the rear passenger side window shattered. Her purse was missing from the vehicle. The officer reviewed the video in the loss prevention office and saw a white four door vehicle that appeared to be an Oldsmobile Alero as the suspect vehicle. The victim's credit cards were used at various locations in Memphis. The victim had approximately $80 dollars cash in the purse along with her Samsung cell phone valued at $159. She also stated that her purse was valued at $85 that she had just recently purchased.
