OBPD Crime Watch Notes - Incidents Reported Saturday, Feb. 6 01750 – Possession of Paraphernalia/Possession of Tobacco by Minor/False ID/Missing Person or Runaway – Super 8 Motel @ 11064 Business Center Dr. – 4:33 a.m.
Officers responding to a report of a 12-year-old missing person/runaway found the missing female at a motel with two males hours later. The juvenile female was located and transported to the Juvenile Detention Center. A 16-year-old male was charged with Possession of Tobacco by a Minor and Possession of Paraphernalia and providing False ID Information; a 19-year-old male was charged with Possession of Paraphernalia.
01751 – Petit Larceny – Mineral Wells Motel @ 6825 Hwy. 178 – 5:11 a.m.
A 53-year-old male reported that two women knocked on the door of his motel room and asked to use his phone. He invited them in and they stayed for a while. After the women left he noticed that $370 was missing from his room. The suspects were described as two black females in their early 20’s, with long hair, dressed alike in jeans and jean jackets.
01773 – Fugitive from Justice – Church Rd @ Craft Rd. – 5:51 p.m.
While assisting a vehicle stuck on the side of the road, officers arrested a male as a Fugitive from Justice on a Warrant from Tate County for Felony Sexual Offenses. The 32-year-old male was taken into custody and held for extradition.
01781 – Alcoholic Beverages, Possession under 21 – Applebee’s Bar & Grill @ 7515 Goodman Rd. – 11:08 p.m.
While assisting a motorist, officers were informed of a minor providing false information and drinking alcoholic beverages while under 21. The 16-year-old male received a Juvenile Summons for Alcoholic Beverages, Possession under 21.
