OBPD Crime Watch Notes - Incidents Reported for Wednesday Feb. 17

02254-Simple Assault-Hacks Cross Rd @ Airport Rd. - 5:12 a.m.
A 30-year-old male reported that a co-worker of his sideswiped him in his vehicle as he was driving on Hacks Cross Rd. He stated that he didn’t want to press charges.

02272- Identity Theft- 9300 Block of State Line Rd. - 1:56 p.m.
A 51-year-old female reported that she received a call from someone stating they received a telemarketer call from her telephone number. She stated she didn’t make the call and someone maybe using her phone number to conduct a scam of some type.

02279- Simple Assault- Olive Branch High School @ 9366 Sandidge Rd. E. - 4:11 p.m.
School Resource Officers at Olive Branch High School reported an altercation between two students; a 15-year-old male was threatening another student.

02286-Burglary- 9300 Block of Stateline Rd.- 6:50 p.m.
A 33-year-old female reported items missing from her residence, including a Nintendo WII, games and a flat screen TV. There was no forced entry.

02289- Grand Larceny- Thrifty Building Supply @ 8279 Frontage Rd. -- 8:41 p.m.
While conducting a check of a business, OBPD officers discovered a 28-year-old and a 33-year-old male, loading building supplies onto a trailer after hours. Officers made contact with the suspects and discovered they were attempting to steal the materials from the company. The trailer used in the crime was also stolen from another agency. The total cost of the materials they were attempting to steal was approximately $1028.50
