OBPD Crime Watch Notes - Incidents Reported Friday, Feb. 12

02024- Attempted Burglary-Dwelling- 6300 Block of Nance Place- 9:50 a.m.
A 62-year-old female reported an attempt to burglarize her residence by forcing open the back door. Entry to the home was not made and nothing was missing.

02026-Petit larceny- Wal-Mart @ 7950 Craft Goodman Frontage Rd. - 11 a.m.
A 21-year-old female reported that she unintentionally left her purse in a shopping cart in the parking lot and when she returned for it was gone.

02044-Recovering a Stolen Vehicle for Another Agency- Annandale Garden Apts. @ 10862 Nichols Blvd.- 4:15 p.m.
A tow truck operator hired to tow away abandoned vehicles had our agency check a vehicle that showed to be stolen out of Marion Ark. The Marion Police Department was contacted and the vehicle was recovered for their agency.

02045- Credit Card Use to Defraud- Wal-Mart @ 7950 Craft Goodman Frontage Rd. - 4:18 p.m.
A 49-year-old female reported to the OBPD that she lost her Visa debit card in Memphis, and an unknown subject has used it to make a $29.96 purchase.

02048- Public Drunk- 5000 Block of Brice’s Cove N. - 4:30 p.m.
OBPD officers responded to a call of a subject doing donuts In the middle of the street on Brice’s Cove. Responding officers went to the scene and made contact with a 31-year-old male who was intoxicated and placed into custody for Public Drunk. The suspect was no longer driving the vehicle when officers arrived.

02049- Possession of Marijuana- Church Rd. & Craft Rd. - 4:37 p.m.
While on Patrol OBPD officers stopped a vehicle for traveling at a high rate of speed. They made contact with the driver who had no driver’s license. The 21-year-old male was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana.

02054-Simple Assault- 10000 Block of Williford Dr. - 6:21 p.m.
OBPD responded to Williford Drive in regards to kids fighting in the street. Officers made the scene and placed three juveniles, ages ranging from 11 to 15, into custody for Simple Assault.

OBPD patrol made one arrest for DUI and suspended License and one arrest for just a suspended license.
