01966- Auto Burglary- 5800 block of Sparrow Run- 6:33 a.m.
A 48-year-old male reported that his vehicle, a 2001 Toyota Tundra, had been burglarized and a cell phone charger and a XM radio were missing. Blood evidence was taken from the vehicle as the suspect injured himself breaking into the vehicle.
01967- Auto Burglary - 5700 Block of Eagleston Dr. - 5:10 a.m.
A 41-year-old female reported that her vehicle, a black 2009 Honda Civic, had been burglarized at 5:10 a.m. She reported hearing a noise like something hitting metal and her alarm went off. The window was broken on the vehicle but nothing appeared to be missing.
01968- Auto Burglary - 5700 Block of Michaelson- 7:26 a.m.
A 35-year-old male reported that his 2004 white Ford Ranger had been burglarized and the vehicle window was broken out. Missing was a Tom Tom GPS system valued at $100.
01971- Auto Burglary - 5700 Block of Stone St. - 8:10 a.m.
An 18-year-old male reported that someone had burglarized his vehicle and broken out the driver’s side window of his 1995 Pontiac Grand Am. Missing was a copy of a 1911 Colt air pistol.
01978-False Pretense- UPS Store @ 6515 Goodman Rd. Suite No. 4-10:30 a.m.
The manager of the UPS store reported that they had a subject in their store that had mailed a vase and was behaving in a suspicious manner. The subject gave bad addresses and phone numbers, changed the shipping addresses and put a high value on an item that did not appear to be that expensive, then later called wanted his money back for the item.
01979- Burglary-Comm. Bldg. - Debbie's Angels and Gifts @ 7035 Depot St. - 10:49 a.m.
Business owner opening her store discovered that someone had entered the store through the back door and has stolen $60 in cash from the register. No forced entry was made.
01983-Grand Larceny- Annandale Apartments @ 10862 Nichols Blvd. - 11:50 a.m.
A 41-year-old female reported that her ex-boyfriend stole her $799 laptop around the end of December.
01990-Reckless Driver- 6200 Block of Magnolia Dr. – 4 p.m.
A female reported that at approximately 3:30 p.m. her son was almost hit by a red Pontiac car bearing a MS tag as he was getting off his school bus.
