OBPD Crime Watch Notes - Incidents Reported Wednesday, Feb. 10

 

01948 - Malicious Mischief - Vineyard Apartments @ 9400 Goodman Rd. - 2 p.m.
A 25-year-old female reported that someone had damaged her door lock and keypad at the entrance to her apartment. She suspects that her estranged husband may be responsible.

01950 - Shoplifting- Wal-Mart @ 7950 Craft Goodman Frontage Rd. - 5:34 p.m.
A Loss prevention Officer at Wal-Mart detained a shoplifter. OBPD officers made the scene and placed the 21-year-old male suspect into custody. The suspect concealed a pair of Apple Iphone ear buds valued at $28.98 in his pants pocket and then proceeded past the last points of sale.

01951- Malicious Mischief - Goodman Manor Apartments @ 9455 Goodman Road - 5:48 p.m.
Complainant reported that someone had broken out the right rear taillight on her Ford Escape. She stated that her ex-boyfriend had called her earlier telling her to move her car and believes he may have done it.

01958- Possession of Marijuana- Club View Drive @ Devon Ridge Dr. - 8:58 p.m. Officers observed a vehicle driving with no headlights. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle and the driver briefly eluded the officers. Officers found the vehicle and made contact with the occupants. They were discovered to be in possession of Marijuana, drug paraphernalia and open containers of alcohol. All four suspects (19-, 20- and 22-  year-old males and 18-year-old female) were arrested.

01959- Violation of a Protection Order- 9245 Pigeon Roost Rd. - 9:02 p.m.
A 29-year-old female reported a 32-year-old female contacted her by phone after being ordered by the City Of Olive Branch Municipal Court to have no contact.

01960 - False Calls to Emergency Call Center-7000 Block of Sandidge Road W. - 11:13 p.m.
OBPD officers responded to a call that a 31-year-old male had been shot. Officers made contact with the caller who stated that he had been shot in his leg. Officers could find no injuries and the subject appeared to be disoriented or under the influence. The subject was transported to Baptist DeSoto to be checked out.

OBPD officers also made three arrests for suspended licenses, One arrest for no drivers license, and one arrest for DUI 2nd Offense.
