A 42-year-old female reported that she observed lights in her window and when she looked out the window a man smashed the windshield of her 1999 green Pontiac Grand Am. The suspect was described as a white male wearing a hoodie who left the scene in a late model gray Dodge pickup truck. Damages to the vehicle were estimated at $400.
01269 – Petit Larceny – Skate Odyssey @ 7417 Hacks Cross Rd. – 1:20 p.m.
A 13-year-old male reported that while at the business he left his phone for a minute and when he returned his black LG cell phone, valued at $329.88, was missing.
01271 – Petit Larceny – 6300 block of Arboreal Dr. – 1:29 p.m.
A 35-year-old male reported that the license plate, valued at $43.07, had been stolen from his 2000 white Ford Explorer. The Mississippi tag number, DEN 748, was entered into NCIC as stolen.
01273 – Embezzlement – Lowe’s Home Center @ 8370 Camp Creek Blvd. – 2:26 p.m.
Loss prevention reported that a former employee embezzled money from the business by selling sheet rock then keeping the money on Dec. 27. The 38-year-old male is also suspected of taking $4000 worth of materials from the business.
01278 – Petit Larceny – 4600 block of Nail Rd. – 3:34 p.m.
A 22-year-old female reported that her XBOX 360, valued at $300, went missing while she was visiting a friend’s residence. She suspects a 22-year-old male acquaintance of taking the item.
01289 – Burglary-Commercial Building – Raleigh Tire Service @ 6902 Goodman Rd. – 10:11 p.m.
Officers responded to an alarm call with glass breakage at the business and observed that forced entry had been made by breaking out the front glass window. Four Sport King Tires, size 285/75-16 valued at $660, were missing from the business.
