OBPD Crime Watch Notes - Incidents Reported Monday, Jan. 25 01108 - Leaving the Scene of an Accident - Sherwin Williams Plant @ 10136 Magnolia Dr. - 7:08 a.m. ?>
A plant manager reported that a vehicle had struck the fence at the business causing over $1000 in damage. Parts left by the vehicle were recovered on the scene.
01123- Petit Larceny - 9000 Block of Hwy. 178 – (no time given)
Victim reported that he has been out of town since October and upon returning discovered his license plate on his 1993 Ford Escort was missing. Tag has now been entered into NCIC as stolen.
01131 - Burglary of a Commercial Building- Olive Branch Plumbing @ 8510 Hwy. 178 -1:46 p.m.
The owner of the business reported that a camper trailer parked at the business had been burglarized. A door to the trailer was broken and someone went through the drawers and cabinets. At the time of report it was unknown what was missing as the actual owner of the trailer was being contacted.
01134- Grand Larceny- 6000 Block of Arboreal Ln. - 2:36 p.m.
Victim reported that she discovered that two handguns were missing from her residence. She stated that she believes they were taken during her move to Olive Branch in November. Several people had helped her move. One pistol was a Rossi .357 that was entered into N.C.I.C. The second pistol was a semi-automatic, unknown make or model.
01139 - Leaving the scene of an Accident - Marietta Corporation - 11170 Green Valley Drive - 03:29 p.m.
Victim reported while at work someone had struck her vehicle. The victim’s vehicle was a 2004 Nissan Maxima. No information was available on the vehicle that left the scene.
01141 -Simple Assault - Lafayette Dr. @ Dupree Dr. - 3:30 p.m.
Complainant reported that her 14-year-old son was assaulted by three juveniles (12-, 13- and 14- years-old). She stated that her son had just gotten off of a school bus when the three juveniles started assaulting him. The incident was recorded on video by a female juvenile bystander.
