OBPD Facebook Ranks No. 5 in Fan Totals in the United States
With 5,080 fans, the Olive Branch Police Department’s Facebook page ranks fifth nationally among departments using the networking site.?> The department uses the site to post daily arrest reports, as well as keep area residents abreast of happenings in and around the city. Department personnel are also able to answer questions posed by residents. “Keeping (residents) informed makes our job so much easier,” Presley noted. “Thank you for your interest in the OBPD and in keeping your community safe. “We also want to thank our Police Chief Don Gammage and Mayor Sam Rikard for their input and support helping to make our OBPD Facebook so successful.”
