Horn Lake Crime Advisory Initiative
(Provided by the City of Horn Lake)
?> Alderman John E. Jones, Jr., Ward 6, has spearheaded an initiative to serve as a communication tool for citizens to know about the crime that is happening in their area. It is our belief, if citizens are armed with information about crime in their neighborhoods they may possibly realize they have seen something that will be helpful in the investigation of the crime and hopefully it will cause our citizens to be more vigilant in securing their property and alerting police when they observe any suspicious activity in their neighborhood. We will attempt to post updates as frequently as possible about criminal acts in the city that could possibly affect other residents. If you have suggestions to improve this new initiative please do not hesitate to contact us. If you have information on any of the crimes listed on this page or believe you have observed suspicious activity, please call the Horn Lake Police Department at 662-393-6174 or DeSoto County Crime Stoppers at 662-429-TIPS. 2/1/10 -- Ward 1 -- At 9:28 p.m., patrol until was in parking lot of Drury Inn and noticed a maroon GMC pickup with passenger window busted out.
