The Secretary of State will receive thousands of annual reports per day during the month of April.  It will take several months to file all of these reports and have the updated information for the corporations appear on the website.  Corporations are encouraged to file their annual reports as soon as possible.

Corporations may utilize the Secretary of State’s on-line filing system.  The annual report will be immediately filed and all of the information for the corporation will be current within 24 hours of the filing.  In addition, corporations save money with on-line filing. 

Annual reports may be filed online for only $23.25 versus $25 through the mail.

To file corporate annual reports on-line, go to the Secretary of State’s website at www.sos.ms.gov. Corporations will need the business ID number (available on the website) and a major credit card.
