More than 150 runners turned out Saturday, Oct. 3, for the sixth annual 5K/10K Run at Center Hill High School.

Hosted by the Olive Twigs Hospitality Group, the event serves as the group’s largest fundraiser of the year. As each runner finished their particular race, they were treated to iced tea, water, bananas and pizza.

In addition to trophies and medals for the top three finishers in a variety of men’s and women’s age groups, the Twigs also presented a traveling trophy to the school with the most student participants. Olive Branch High, which won the 2008 trophy, earned the right to keep the award for one more year.
