Raphael Henry Named Assistant Director of Athletics for Sports Video

University of Southern Mississippi Director of Athletics Richard C. Giannini announced the hiring of Raphael Henry as assistant director of athletics for sports video.

Henry comes to Southern Miss after spending the last 10 years on the staff at Ole Miss, where he worked as a videographer, as well as a producer and director for Ole Miss Sports Productions. Prior to his stint with the Rebels, Henry worked as a sports photographer and editor at WTVA-TV in Tupelo.

The 1997 Rust College graduate began his career as a sports photographer/editor as well as an on-air personality for his alma mater. He earned a B.A. in mass communications and print journalism.

"We are glad to have Raphael join our staff," Giannini added. "He comes to us highly recommended and we look forward to having him run our entire video operation."
