French and Spanish students from Olive Branch High participated on March 2 in NEA Read Across America Day. The French and Spanish students formed groups together to duplicate a tri-lingual children's book entitled, “Fiesta,” by Ginger Foglesong Guy. The student groups read the story to over 15 Olive Branch Elementary classrooms in Spanish, French and English. At the end of the story each group encouraged the students to count along with them from one- to-10. They counted first in English, then in Spanish and lastly in French. (Courtesy photo)?> |
