The Olive Branch City Beautiful Commission presents Octoberfest XXXI, an arts and crafts fair, on Oct. 3 at Olive Branch City Park. There will be a needlework contest, a needlepoint contest, and a quilted and afghan contest (old and new), with cash prizes awarded for first, second and third place. Ribbons will be awarded in each category, with cash prizes for the best overall workmanship.In addition there will be awards for the most attractive booth. Entertainment is scheduled throughout the day, and there will be a wide array of food vendors. This year’s event will be held from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., rain or shine.
