Olive Branch Represented on Ole Miss Homecoming Court
OXFORD -- University of Mississippi students, alumni and friends look forward to an array of activities Friday and Saturday (Oct. 16-17) during Homecoming Weekend, planned around the theme "Ole Miss: An Experience That Lasts a Lifetime."?> A memorable experience each year is crowning of the Ole Miss Homecoming queen and presentation of her court. The ceremony for this year's queen, Hart Wardlaw of Tupelo, is scheduled Saturday at halftime during the football matchup between Ole Miss and University of Alabama-Birmingham, with kickoff at 6 p.m.Pre-game activities beginning at 5:30 p.m. include introduction of Miss Ole Miss and Colonel Rebel, Carmen Rae Musgrove of Brandon and Steven Nelson of Hattiesburg. Homecoming maids are seniors Beth Aiken of Jackson, Leighanne Pegues of Olive Branch and Amber Tramp of Keller, Texas; juniors Hannah Neely of Jackson and Hanna Nutt of Oklahoma City; sophomores Hailey Nutt of Oklahoma City and Robin Walker of Paris, Tenn.; and freshmen Kim Dandridge of Como and Danielle Smith of Oxford. Homecoming escorts representing Ole Miss sports are Zach Graham of Atlanta, Ga., and Eniel Polynice of Sarasota, Fla., basketball; Tim Ferguson of Beaumont, Texas, and Taylor Hashman of Naples, Fla., baseball; and Chris Bush of Oxford, Matt Daniels of Arab, Ala., Colin Moleton of Pittsburgh, Pa., Lee Moore of Cordova, Tenn., and Bryce Willen of Cape Girardeau, Mo., track and field. |
