A fresh new voice!

Northwest Mississippi Community College sophomore nursing majors (left-to-right) Sarah Cook, Senatobia; Kristi Lozon, Hernando; Lauren Saxton, Yazoo City; Kelly Holliday, Olive Branch; and Rachel Marvel, Kansas City, Mo., collect supplies for their classmate Michael Mims of Senatobia, who is serving one year of active duty in Baghdad. The Student Nurses Association (SNA) and the sophomore II nursing class donated snacks, hygiene items and nursing textbooks for Mims and his platoon. The nursing students are also participating in “Cell Phones for Soldiers,” which provides pre-paid cell phone cards to soldiers serving overseas.
