The Northwest Mississippi Community College Entertainers and Jazz Band will combine forces for a joint concert set for Tuesday, Dec. 1, at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium on the Senatobia campus.

The Jazz Band is under the direction of John Ungurait. The Entertainers are directed by Dr. Saundra Bishop; Aime Anderson is choreographer of the group.

The concert, which is entitled, “Hit me With a Hot Note,” will feature selections with a fiery theme including “Too Darn Hot,” “Smoke on the Water,” “Great Balls of Fire” and “Fever.”

Other upcoming events for Northwest Fine Arts include the Northwest Symphonic Winds concert, which will be held Thursday, Dec. 3, at 7:30 p.m., also in the Fine Arts Auditorium. The Symphonic Winds is under the direction of Ungurait and John Mixon.
