A fresh new voice!

Lewisburg Primary School principal Jeannie Treadway (left) proudly accepts an American flag from U.S. Representative Travis Childers. The flag, which previously flew over the United States Capitol, was presented to the school in recognition of its grand opening and ribboncutting ceremonies on Aug. 4. Similar ceremonies were held Wednesday afternoon at Lake Cormorant High School. Treadway said she is expecting 500 students in grades K-through-second grade when the doors open Thursday morning.
